Why You Want to Become a Patron
Each year your EMTs and firefighters respond to many 911 calls. In 2006, the number of call outs was 206.

Whenever you have a problem, fire or medical, who do you turn to? 911, of course. It is good to remember that our peace of mind comes from having the best manned, most responsive volunteer Paramedics, EMTs and firefighters!

Ask yourself what would happen if you or your family had to wait for a first response unit, within the critical life saving 6 minutes, to come from a town 20 minutes away. Ask yourself what would happen to your family, your home or your neighbors home if you had to wait 20 minutes for a fire truck to come to your home.

Your Beech Mountain Fire Department depends on your generous contributions to buy equipment to protect your homes from fire and your friends and family for medical emergencies. To donate to the fire department is actually helping yourself.
